The Challenges
Planning, Designing, Preparation of Tender Document, Assist Client in procurement of Contractors and supervision of Construction of Water Supply Schemes in 15 villages of Rufiji District Council
Involvement: Assess and confirm of community demand for type and level of service, Physical survey of the proposed communities to identify and locate water sources. Preparation of project implementation Programme Assisting communities to prepare Facilities Management Plan (Detail Designs, Layouts, and Drawings, Preparation of bills of quantities and Cost estimates and O&M arrangements) and final involved in Construction Supervision of the Project and handing over.
Achievements: while implementing the above project, I managed
to get clear exposure and acquire a good working experience in Planning, Design of water supply schemes, Project management, Evaluation and monitoring.
